(Skirt and coat: Topshop; Jumper: ASOS; Scarf: Helen Moore: Necklaces and rings: Thomas Sabo; Watch: Michael Kors; Bag: Prada)

Despite my failed attempt to bag the autumnal-print zip-front Topshop skirt in the sales I did manage to find this one as an alternative. It would have been a MUCH better bet to buy it in Tall - Topshop's fit models clearly have short torsos. So this is a very short skirt, one I'm not sure if I'll be able to wear without a coat to protect me! But it is so pretty. And tapestry has importance to me.

I think I was doing my best to make some sort of happy face again because it does feel like, even though it's still currently pretty bloody cold, spring is just around the corner. It doesn't start officially until 20th March apparently, but I'm writing this at 6pm on a Sunday evening and there's still light in the sky. And there are daffodils everywhere.

I've since upped my greens intake with a whole new selection of green items to go in my wardrobe for the new season. Green, suede and denim. It's going to be a '70s love-in round here.
